A little bit of personal information about Holland is that he is a devoted family man and an altruistic public servant. Holland believes strongly in a supportive family unit that is deep rooted in patriotism and polished through the acquisition of education.

Now, it is time to share a little bit of professional information about Holland. Holland proudly served this country in the United States Navy, part of which he served during the Somalian Conflict.  After being honorably discharged, Holland’s call of duty to his community resonated stronger in his core and he began his tour of duty in law enforcement. He spent the next 20 years working his way up the ranks from Deputy to Sergeant, then Captain and has also attained the position of Chief of Police.  Holland continued his academic knowledge in an effort to mirror his professional climb and attained a J.D. as well as a Ph.D.

Ultimately Holland’s love for his family, serve of duty to his country and community as well as his pursuit for professional excellence led him to the most challenging choice of his life... the continued call of duty to his community to run for the Office of Fort Bend County Sheriff.
